- Q?Which countries do BBW operate in?

BBW are based in London, UK but advise clients with operations across the globe. We have specific expertise in Europe but are also familiar with requirements in the US, Middle East and Asia Pacific. BBW’s clients are typically Headquartered in Europe.
- Q?Is my requirement to big or too small for BBW?

BBW work with clients from as few as 25 staff to well over 10,000 staff.
- Q?How much does a Typical Project Cost?

Every project that BBW undertake is different. Once we understand the requirements we will provide a detailed proposal. For a large project this may be split between skill levels, for example a project may take 2 days of a lead consultants time, 4 days of a consultants time and 1 day of an analysts time. Each skill set may have different day rates and we present this in a very transparent and detailed way to our clients, so they can see exactly what they are purchasing.
- Q?What safeguards and protection will I have if I use BBW?

In addition to the highly skilled and experienced Consultancy resources that BBW maintain, we have also developed and perfected robust methodologies to ensure that the quality of the advice we provide to Clients is of the highest standard. (We would be pleased to provide details of our Risk Management processes).
We also carry professional indemnity insurance to the value of £1m (and we have increased this for individual assignments as and when required) so in the worst possible eventuality, Clients are fully covered; it is worth noting however that we have never had a claim against us during the 20 years we have been Consulting.
- Q?Who exactly will I be Dealing with?

Individual assignment teams are proposed and agreed with the Client during initial discussion based on the particular areas of expertise required, we have also developed an operational model and methodologies that ensure continuity of contact, flexibility of resource and quality of output.
Client’s primary point of contact will be a BBW “Lead” Consultant who will maintain control for all aspects of the assignment delivery, a secondary Consultant will also be appointed who will be able to assume control should the primary become incapacitated. The primary will manage all the various BBW resources required to deliver the assignment to the required BBW quality standards (although direct Client contact with other resources will of course be facilitated where indicated).
- Q?How big is BBW?

BBW maintain a small core team of highly experienced Consultants, Analysts and Support personnel that are capable of delivering the majority of assignments; we have also established a flexible international team of “Trusted Associates” over the years which we can deploy for highly specialised advice or additional resource if required. This approach enables us to maintain a low core cost base (contributing to our highly competitive charges) and to also access the depth and breadth of expertise required to service our existing and rapidly growing Client Base.
- Q?What are your daily rates?

Although there are core costs that must be covered in every business, BBW prefer to provide a fixed price contract for assignments which is based only in part on the amount and level of resource required to meet out exacting quality standards. During initial conversations with Clients we will quickly identify the areas where it is most beneficial for our Client to engage us and we will also highlight where we feel that alternate approaches might be preferable.
BBW Clients invariably receive exactly what they require at a cost that makes sound business sense; on the rare occasion where we do not feel that we can add sufficient value to a process, we will advise the Client accordingly and suggest what we feel are more appropriate strategies for meeting their requirement.
- Q?Are you truly Independent?

Yes we are, BBW have never (and never will) accept referral fees, commissions or any other type of inducement from equipment manufacturers, distributors, integrators or service providers. Further to this, (unlike some other Consultancies who proudly “claim” to be our competitors), we have neither preferred suppliers nor suppliers that we always recommend.
Both the service or solution that we recommend and any external parties required to commission or support it are recommended purely upon on applicability to the individual Client’s requirements, recent performance and if appropriate, strategic considerations.
- Q?Do you offer “No Win No Fee”?

As a consultancy company, we typically charge on a daily rate basis. i.e. we agree with a client the number of consultancy numbers and the amount per day. We offer discounts for larger projects. Some clients ask us to share the risk and the reward of a project. For example, an auditing project where we provide a reduced or no daily rate charge in return for a percentage of the savings achieved. As a professional consultancy, we would never make any recommendations to achieve a great saving that would reduce the quality of the service provided. We would, of course, be pleased to discuss the options.
